Through First Nations ownership, a Western Australian company is harnessing sandalwood knowledge that goes back tens of thousands of years – and perfumers around the world are wanting in.

Through a combination of detailed research and in-depth interviews, internationally-renowned aromatherapist and ecologist Dr Kelly Ablard explores the Australian sandalwood tree (Santalum spicatum, Fusanus spicatum), or Dutjahn as it is known by Martu and Wongi custodians.
